Four Construction Firms Blacklisted for Breaching Contract Terms

The Public Procurement Monitoring Office (PPMO) has blacklisted four construction firms for failing to comply with the terms of their contracts.

Modern Construction and Suppliers has been blacklisted for three years following a recommendation from the Dumre-Besisahar-Chame Road Project Office, Lamjung.

Similarly, Kamala Shanti Matsya JV has been blacklisted for two years on the recommendation of Sundarharaicha Municipality, Morang. The joint venture comprises Kamala Shanti Nirman Sewa and Matsya Pokhari Construction Pvt. Ltd. Both firms were penalized for failing to perform as required under an infrastructure construction contract.

Meanwhile, Black Mamba Construction Pvt. Ltd. of Surkhet has been blacklisted for one year following a recommendation from Gurans Rural Municipality, Dailekh.

The PPMO said the blacklisted firms will not be eligible to participate in public procurement during their respective penalty periods.
