Forward Microfinance Laghubitta Distributing 5% Cash Dividend Directly to Shareholders' Bank Accounts

Forward Microfinance Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (FOWAD) is distributing 5% cash dividends directly to the bank accounts of its shareholders from today (15th Magh) and has urged them to dematerialize their shares.

The company convened its 10th AGM for the FY 2078/79 on Poush 30, 2079. The company endorsed a 30% dividend for FY 2078/79. The meeting of the board of directors held on Poush 04 decided to distribute the dividend on the paid-up capital of Rs. 84.44 Crores. A 5% cash dividend (including tax) worth Rs. 4.22 Crores and a 25% bonus dividend worth Rs. 21.11 Crores were proposed. The same cash dividend is now being distributed.

Also, the company has urged the shareholders to dematerialize their shares if they haven't updated their bank information in the Demat account are requested to do so in order to receive the dividend.

Additionally, if eligible investors had taken a loan against the shares of the company before the book closure date, they should present a No Objection Letter from their lending institution to receive the dividend.
