Fortune Hotels, part of ITC's hotel group, has made its international debut by opening its first establishment outside of India, the Fortune Resort & Wellness Spa Bhaktapur, in Nepal. The managing director of Fortune Hotels, Samir MC, expressed excitement about entering the Nepalese market at the start of the 2024-25 financial year, highlighting the new resort as a key part of their "beyond borders" growth strategy. The new resort features a variety of wellness facilities including a spa with multiple treatment rooms and a gym, as well as a vegetarian restaurant and a chic bar. It also offers extensive event spaces for weddings and conferences, enhancing its appeal as a venue for major events.
