Former Election Commissioner Appointed Director of Citizens Bank International Limited

Ila Sharma, a former Election Commissioner with extensive experience in law and international business, has been appointed as the director of Citizens Bank International Limited.

Sharma holds LLM degrees in Public International Law and Human Rights from Tribhuvan University and International Business Law, International Trade, and Development from the University of Hull, UK.

With over three decades of expertise in various fields including law, public relations, education, and development, Sharma has contributed significantly to election-related laws and curriculum development. She has served in key roles in INGOs and commercial banks, demonstrating a strong commitment to both public service and the corporate sector.

Citizens Bank International Limited, currently operating in 55 districts, aims to expand its reach to 60 districts by adding seven more branches this financial year, offering modern banking services to its growing customer base of 1.744 thousand clients through its extensive branch network and branchless banking units.
