Former chairman of SEBON Baburam Shrestha no more; board acknowledges the great milestones Nepalese sharemarket achieved during his tenure

Securities Exchange Board of Nepal has expressed its deepest condolence to the demise of its former chairman Late Baburam Shrestha who passed away on Kartik 1, 2077.

Late Shrestha had served at the top executive position of the board between Ashoj 30, 2068 till Ashoj 29, 2072.

He had initiated the process of dematerializing the paper-based shares, made rating compulsory for the companies before they go public, started to complain hotline for the general investors in the board, and taken many other initiatives that have so far paid off for the betterment of the Nepalese share market, as per the media statement.
