Footwear Fiesta: Kathmandu Valley's New Year Trade Fair

A shoe and sandal trade fair has been organized at four locations in the Kathmandu Valley to mark the New Year 2081.

The event, spearheaded by Nepali Shoe House, aims to showcase locally produced footwear and introduce local brands to consumers.

The fair, held at Buddha Mall, Balaju, New Road Mall, New Road, Kumaripati, and Satdobato in Lalitpur, was inaugurated by Hemraj Dhakal, the Vice President of the Federation of Commerce and Industry.

Homanath Upadhyay, the fair's coordinator, mentioned plans to establish permanent showrooms at all four locations post-event.

Notable footwear companies like Royal Shoes, Base Footwear, Cross Road Shoes, First Walk Shoes, DJ Shoes, Run Shoes, Koseli leather shoes, and Smart Shoes are participating, and showcasing their products.
