Fonepay to facilitate digital tax payment to IRD via mobile banking service; MoBanking users of 52 different BFIs to enjoy convenient tax payment now

Fonepay has started to facilitate in payment of tax amounts to the inland revenue offices from mobile banking services of all the banks and financial institutions linked with the Fonepay service.

With the latest arrangement, mobile banking service users of 52 different Fonepay members BFIs can now make digital payment of their tax amount to the IRD via Everest Bank’s channel right through their mobile device without visiting and queuing up at the IRD offices, as per the media statement.

The MoU towards that effect was signed between DY MD of Everest Bank Mr. Aasutosh Sharma and Chief Technology Officer of Fonepay Mr. Dibas Sapkota amid a program.
