Fonepay Mobile Banking Mela concludes successfully at several Malls; next Mela at Civil Mall on March 8
After the huge success of “Mobile Banking Mela” on Eyeplex Mall, Fonepay hosted its second Mela on KL Tower on Staurday, 29th of February. FONEPAY, Nepal’s largest payment network has been leading this initiative with a chain of similar events on all the major malls inside Kathmandu throughout the month of Feb-March 2020.
Mobile banking is a service provided by BANKS that allow their users to make a tons of banking services like payments, fund transfers, instant statement etc directly from their banks mobile app. In addition to all the available financial services that can be conveniently used anytime, from anywhere, users can also enjoy the innovative QR scan and pay “Fonepay” feature which makes payments like electricity bill, telephone bill, airline tickets, movie tickets, and grocery shopping more convenient and effortless than ever before.
Mobile Banking Mela is an intriguing interactive event hosting lots of interesting games with assured exciting gift hampers to be won by all participators. Out of others the “Spin the Wheel’ bonanza was the crowds favorite, attracting majority of the Weekend mall visitors. Almost all participators won assured gifts which included tons of fancy accessories and instant mobile Top-Ups. Everyone was drawn towards the bumper prize worth of Rs 50,000, winner of which will be announced on the final event of the Mela in the coming weeks.
The event also promoted the ongoing mega campaign by Fonepay called “Paisa line ra tirne DUBAI udne”. Any mobile banking user can participate in this campaign by simply using the “QR scan to pay” feature available in their Bank’s Mobile banking App. The campaign started from the 2nd of January and will be valid till July 2nd 2020. Lucky winners are announced on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis. Every day five luck winners are announced who will each receive 100 percent cashback for one of the transactions made the day before. Similarly, five lucky merchants will win surprise gift hampers. Weekly one merchant and one customer will get a chance to win a smartphone worth Rs 25,000, simple by using the QR “scan to pay” feature for transactions. At the end of every month, one merchant and one customer will win the “TRIP TO DUBAI” bumper prize through digital lucky draw.
The Mobile Banking Mela event was also graced by Miss Nepal World, 2019 – ANUSHKA SHRESTHA who stepped in to hand over the weekly prizes for FONEPAY’s “Paisa line ra trine Dubai udne” which included mobile phones worth Rs. 25,000.
