Fonepay Launches Student Ambassador Program 2025 to Drive Digital Inclusion and Youth Empowerment

Fonepay, Nepal’s leading digital payment network, has launched the Fonepay Student Ambassador Program 2025, a nationwide initiative aimed at empowering university students in digital literacy, fintech innovation, and community engagement. The eight-week program, starting on May 31st, involves 75 selected teams from over 170 applicants across Nepal. These student ambassadors will receive specialized training in marketing, digital finance, and leadership, and will promote Fonepay services in their colleges and communities.

A key feature of the program is the “Time to Teach Back” initiative, encouraging students to educate older generations on using digital financial tools, thereby bridging the generational digital gap. The program offers participants real-world experience, the chance to intern at F1Soft Group, and attractive incentives including MacBook Airs for top performers.

Fonepay aims to build a digitally inclusive Nepal by investing in youth leadership and digital awareness. Participating institutions include a diverse range of colleges, both from Kathmandu Valley and across the country, highlighting the program’s nationwide reach and inclusivity.
