Fonepay launches offline service; users can now make QR payments even without internet connection from their Fonepay app

Fonepay has launched a new offline service where customers using Fonepay’s mobile app. will now be able to make QR payments even when they are not connected to any internet connection.

The latest revision to the service was announced amid a program on Magh 21, 2079 which was kickstarted by Deputy Governor of Nepal Rastra bank Dr. Neelam Dhungana and was also attended by representatives from more than 60 BFIs, as per the media statement.

Fonepay currently has more than 1.60 crore users with 11 lakh plus merchants and 60 plus associated BFIs, as per the media statement.
