FOCUSONE Payment Solutions Launches Alipay+ Integration with MOCO Unified QR Code in Nepal

FOCUSONE Payment Solutions Pvt. Ltd. officially launched its integration of Alipay+ into the MOCO Unified QR Code on September 25, 2024, at Lazimpat. This integration, in partnership with Himalayan Bank, allows merchants across Nepal to accept payments from international customers seamlessly.

Alipay+, a product of Ant Group, supports transactions for over 1.5 billion consumers through 14 e-wallets and banking apps in Southeast Asia and beyond. The Chief Guest, Mr. Binod Raj Acharya from Nepal Rastra Bank, highlighted that this partnership is a significant milestone for Nepal's digital payment sector, enabling secure payments for both national and international customers.

The integration will enhance the MOCO Unified QR Code’s functionality, which previously only supported domestic payments, making it easier for local businesses to cater to Southeast Asian tourists without currency exchange challenges.

Additionally, this integration brings various payment options through networks like Mastercard, NEPALPAY, and VISA, encouraging local merchants to adopt the MOCO Unified QR Code for exclusive promotions and access to a broader international customer base. FOCUSONE aims to continue enhancing its digital payment services by collaborating with global partners like Alipay+.
