FNCCI invites Malaysia ex-PM to Feb summit

KATHMANDU, Jan 31: The Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI) has formally invited former Malaysian Prime Minister Mahathir bin Mohamad to participate in the Nepal-Economic Summit-2014 scheduled to be held next month.

A delegation led by FNCCI President Suraj Vaidya met Mahathir in Malaysia on Wednesday, FNCCI said in a statement Thursday. During the meeting, the delegation held discussions with Mahathir on trade and investment relations between Nepal and Malaysia and also apprised the former prime minister of the summit.
