FM transfers 10 joint secys

The Finance Ministry has transfer red 10 joint secretaries to its different subordinate offices through Friday’s ministerial decision. The ministry handed over the letters of transfer to the transfer red on Sunday.

Those transfer red are Khum Raj Punjali, Jagadish Regmi, Kishor Jung Karki, Dhundi Raj Pokharel, Janmajaya Regmi, Jayadev Shrestha, Dilli Siwakoti, Rajendra Bajracharya, Krishna Pokharel and Damodar Regmi, according to the ministry.

Punjali, who was the head of the ministry’s public enterprises coordination division, has been transfer red to the Department of Revenue Investigation (DRI). DRI chief Janmajaya Regmi has been brought to the ministry.

Koshor Gung Karki has been transfer red to head the airport customs office from the Department of Customs. Chief of the airport customs Jagadish Regmi has been transfer red to the Big Taxpayers’ Office.

Dhundi Raj Pokharel, who was the chief district officer in Banke, was first transfer red to the Finance Ministry from the Home Ministry by the Cabinet, and the Finance Ministry has now kept him at the ministry itself.

Jayadev Shrestha, who headed the Inland Revenue Office-2 (IRO-2), Kathmandu, has been transfer red to the Financial Comptroller General Office (FCGO). Newly promoted Dilli Siwakoti has been posted at IRO-2.

Rajendra Bajracharya has been transfer red to the FCGO from the District Treasury Office, Kathmandu. Krishna Pokharel has been posted to the District Treasury Office, Kathmandu. Damodar Regmi, who was the deputy director general at DRI, has been transfer red to the same post at the Department of Customs.
