FinMin: Budget to prioritize infra development

KATHMANDU, May 12:

Finance Minister Dr Ram Sharan Mahat has said the government would prioritize infrastructure development in the upcoming budget.

He also said the government would set aside adequate funds for infrastructure projects from internal resources. Launching ´Nepal´s Development Tragedy:

Threats and Possibilities´ written by Prof Bishwambher Pyakuryal here on Monday, Mahat said development works in the country were affected due to decade-long insurgency, political transition and the lack of governance.
