Financial Collaboration: Rastriya Banijya Bank's Pact with Printing Department
The Rastriya Banijya Bank Limited has entered into an agreement with the Printing Department, Ministry of Communication and Information Technology, Nepal Government, to offer easy loans to department employees.
Signed by the bank's Acting CEO, Devendra Raman Khanal, and the Printing Department's Director General, Rekha Kandel, the agreement enables the bank to provide professional loans, up to fifteen lakh rupees, to eligible employees based on service tenure and department recommendation.
The loan will adhere to the bank's consumer loan guidelines with a 2 percent premium interest rate above the base rate, currently at 7.35 percent. Additionally, the bank will manage the salary accounts of department employees. The agreement is anticipated to be mutually beneficial. Attendees at the signing included senior officials from both entities, indicating a collaborative effort.
