Finance secy meets division heads

KATHMANDU:

The Finance Ministry has directed all executing agencies to start work on developing action plans for the implementation of the plans and programs spelled out in the budget for Fiscal Year 2013/14. According to a statement issued on Thursday, Finance Secretary Shanta Raj Subedi asked the chiefs of different divisions to work at full speed to complete the preparations for the action plans of the respective divisions. “Monitoring and evaluation should be stronger in order to implant the budget effectively,” reads the release as Subedi saying. “Internal Revenue Department also should implement the provisions established in the financial ordinance as soon as possible.”
