Finance Minister Mahat to submit budget on Sunday

KATHMANDU, July 11:

Finance Minster Dr Ram Sharan Mahat is all set to table the annual budget of the Fiscal Year 2071/72 in the House on Sunday.

Speaker Subas Nembang informed the parliament about it reading out a letter dispatched from the Finance Ministry in New Baneshwar on Friday.

Likewise, Finance Minister Mahat has tabled an economic survey report. Mahat said the economic growth will go up by 5.2% in the coming six years.

He further informed that the trade deficit is so huge that it has reached Rs 400 billion in the last ten months of the ongoing fiscal year.
