Finance employee robbed of Rs 5 lakh

KATHMANDU, Jan 6:

An employee of financial institute was robbed of 500,000 rupees from Gangabu area on Sunday afternoon.

Niraj Rana Magar, 29, of Banasthali, staffer of Samakhusi-based Indrawati Saving Finance Ltd, was robbed of 500,000 rupees, while he was going to deposit it at SBI bank based in Gangabu at 3 pm today, said police.

Sudhir Gadtaula and Shambhu Raj Shrestha are the promoters of Indrawati Saving Finance Ltd which is based in Samakhusi.

Police are carrying out a manhunt to nab the culprit and investing the case.
