Fall in NEPSE continues on second trading day of this week

The benchmark index plunged 17.98 points to settle at 848.18 level, compared to yesterday’s 866.16 points.
NEPSE has witnessed fall of 32.86 points in two trading days, which has created little quandary among the stock investors of the country.
The ongoing row between the three major political parties regarding giving the constitution to the country; resulted in low confidence levels among the investors due to which the market witnessed substantial fall in the only stock exchange of the country.
The sub-indices continued the same trend of NEPSE and has recorded decline in their respective graphs.
Banking sector tumbled 19.06 points to close at 730.09 level, has predominantly affected the benchmark index.
HydroPower and Insurance gravitated maximum today, by 78.52 and 51.23 points respectively, compared to yesterday’s drop of 18.13 and 107.79 points respectively.
Finance dived 2.44 points. While Hotels, Development, Manufacturing and Others had similar dip of 10.21, 10.18, 10.91 and 10.57 points respectively.
The market turnover has also declined by Rs 23 million to stand at Rs 197 million compared to yesterday’s figure of Rs 220 million.
