Excel Development Bank Enhances Traffic Safety in Jhapa Birtamode

Excel Development Bank Limited (EDBL) has taken a significant step in contributing to road safety and traffic awareness in Jhapa Birtamode. In response to the challenges posed by unorganized urbanization, increasing population density, and rising traffic volume in Nepal, the bank, as part of its corporate social responsibility, handed over eight traffic poles along with signal and message boards to the District Traffic Police Office.

The formal handover event, organized to mark the transfer and installation of the traffic poles, witnessed the Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Excel Development Bank, Lekhraj Karki, presenting the poles to Chief Police Inspector Nabaraj Neupane of the District Traffic Police Office. Police Inspector Neupane acknowledged the importance of these traffic poles, stating that they would contribute to public awareness, facilitate adherence to traffic rules, and play a role in mitigating traffic jams and accidents within Jhapa Birtamode.
