Ex-CEO of bank of Kathmandu, Ajay Shrestha, arrested by CIB along with 6 other employees; Borrower and valuator on the run

The ex-CEO of Bank of Kathmandu (BOKL), Mr. Ajay Shrestha, has been arrested by Nepal Police's Central Investigation Bureau (CIB) along with 6 other employees.
The individuals have been arrested for providing loans by taking river-land as collateral. The borrower and the valuator, according to CIB, are on the run and are being pursued.
The borrower, Mr. Surendra Shrestha from Jhapa, had taken Rs 5 crore as loan from BOKL on 2015 by presenting fake papers of river land of Jhapa.
