Everest Finance’s profit surges by 35% in Q4

Everest Finance Limited has reported profit growth of 35 percent by the end of the fourth quarter of the last fiscal year 2070/71.
According to the unaudited financial report for the fourth quarter published today, the finance company stated that its profit has risen from merely Rs 94.70 lakh to Rs 1.27crore in the previous fiscal year 2069/70.
Its net interest income has risen to Rs 3.35 crore up from Rs 2.64 crore.
Everest Finance mobilized Rs 71.35 crore in deposit and Rs 65.70 crore in loan by the fourth quarter as compared to Rs 53.24 crore in deposit and Rs 47.21 crore in loan at the end of the corresponding quarter.
The provisioning of the Finance company is Rs 20.76 lakh for possible loss at the end of the fourth quarter.
The non-performing loan in the fourth quarter is 0.73 percent.
Everest’s EPS is now priced at Rs 11.66, P/E ratio at 13.73 times and net worth per share at Rs 11.23.
