Esewa Money Transfer Partners with Touch ‘n Go eWallet to Enable SSF Contributions for Nepali Migrants in Malaysia
Esewa Money Transfer, Nepal's first digital remittance company under F1Soft Group, has partnered with Malaysia's leading digital wallet, Touch ‘n Go eWallet, to enable Nepali migrants in Malaysia to directly contribute to Nepal’s Social Security Fund (SSF). The agreement, signed by CEOs Sarveswaran Raja Gopal (TNG Digital Remittance) and Ajesh Koirala (Esewa Money Transfer), aims to promote financial inclusion and provide social protection for Nepali workers abroad.
The initiative allows migrants to conveniently make SSF contributions via the Touch ‘n Go eWallet app. Both companies view this collaboration as a step toward broader fintech innovation and migrant empowerment. Established in 2019 and licensed by Nepal Rastra Bank, Esewa Money Transfer supports over 20 million individuals, while Touch ‘n Go eWallet plays a key role in Malaysia’s move toward a cashless society. The partnership reflects a shared commitment to simplifying cross-border financial services and fostering long-term cooperation.
