eSewa launches comprehensive health package insurance coverage at less than Rs 1 per day; partners with Himalayan Everest Insurance Company for holistic insurance coverage against illness, death and accident

eSewa has launched eSewa Care, the complete health care insurance package with less than Rs 1 premium per day for its customers.

The leading digital wallet service has collaborated with Himalayan Everest Insurance Company. Interested customers can purchase the service with a premium of Rs 360 per year, after which they can enjoy different healthcare packages and accidental insurance coverage. They can receive upto Rs 2.30 lakh worth of coverage in case of hospitalization following the illness or accident as well as for permanent disability and will also be eligible to receive other insurance coverages following the death and other accident-related treatment and permanent disabilities. Esewa has also arranged with different health institutions to provide attractive discounts for insured customers while availing of their health services, per the media statement.
