Emergency Cabinet meet held to discuss Chinese PM arrival
KATHMANDU, JAN 14 -
An emergency Cabinet meeting has been held at the prime minister's official residence in Baluwatar to discuss Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao's visit to the country on Saturday morning.
However, the decisions made by the meeting have been kept secret.
Although, other ministers did not reveal anything about the meeting, Finance Minister Barsha Man Pun said discussions on economic understanding were held during the meeting.
According to the sources, the Chinese Prime Minister will be greeted by Prime Minister Baburam Bhattarai at the Tribhuwan International Airport.
All the meetings will be held in Singhadurbar, high-level government sources confirmed.
The Chinese PM was due to arrive here in the Capital at 11 this morning, however, the flight has been delayed by an hour.
