Embark College will provide full scholarships worth Rs 2.7 crore over five years to students from families affected by the Bhotekoshi floods, covering MBA and BSc Business Management programmes. Four students will receive full scholarships each year, benefiting 20 students in total by the end of the programme.

The college said the initiative extends the government's existing scholarship support for school-level flood-affected students to the higher education level, aiming to keep students from dropping out due to financial strain following the disaster.

"We didn't want the disaster to disrupt these students' higher education," said Ashish Thakur, Executive Director and CEO of Embark College, adding that continued support is needed to prevent affected students from abandoning their studies for financial reasons.

Separately, the college has contributed Rs 6,77,008 raised jointly from the college, staff and students to the Prime Minister's Disaster Relief Fund for immediate relief and rehabilitation work.
