Electricity Regulatory Commission Approves 50% Right Issue of Liberty Energy Company

The Electricity Regulatory Commission (ERC) has given approval to Liberty Energy Company Limited (LEC) to issue rights shares.

ERC has given consent to submit the proposal to the general meeting to issue right shares worth Rs. 75 Crores, which will be 50 percent of the company's current paid-up capital of Rs. 1.50 Arba.

After the issue of 50% right shares, the company's paid-up capital will reach Rs 2.25 Arba.

LEC has made an investment in the upper Dordi “A” Hydropower Project (25 MW) located in the Lamjung district. The project has finally started its commercial operation since 17th Mangsir, 2079 and started generating income from the sale of  electricity.
