EC Sets Up Provincial Offices, Appoints Election Officers for National Assembly Elections
The Election Commission (EC) has appointed election officers and established offices in all seven provinces in preparation for the upcoming National Assembly elections scheduled for January 24.
According to the EC, district judges have been designated as election officers in each province. The elections will be held to fill 19 vacant seats in the National Assembly.
As per the announced schedule, the preliminary voter list will be published on January 3, followed by the final voter list on January 6. Candidate nominations will be accepted on January 7, while objections, withdrawals, and finalization of candidates and election symbols will conclude by January 12.
Voting will take place at designated polling centers from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM on the election day.
