Don't Forget: Your Last Day to Grab 15% Dividend of Siddhartha Bank Limited (SBL)

Today is the last day to grab the already-proposed dividend of Siddhartha Bank Limited (SBL).

The bank has called its 19th AGM on Magh 16, i.e. January 29. The meeting will be organized in Amrapali Banquet, Baluwatar, Kathmandu, starting from 11 am that day. The meeting will be streamed virtually for investors.

Among other agendas, the AGM will endorse the dividend for the fiscal year 2076/77. The bank has declared a 15% dividend for the fiscal year 2076/77. The 357th meeting of the board of directors held on Mangsir 19 had proposed 12% bonus shares worth Rs 1.17 Arba and 3% cash dividend worth Rs 29.36 crore (including cash for tax purpose) for the fiscal year 2076/77.

The AGM will also approve the amendment of capital (capital adjustment) after the distribution of the bonus share and increment of authorized capital. Furthermore, 2 board members representing the public investors and 3 representing the promoters will be elected.

The book closure date is announced tomorrow, i.e. on Poush 28. Thus, investors maintained till today are entitled to the dividend payout and can also attend the AGM.
