Despite low premium (net) collection, NLG Insurance able to increase its profit by 15.35% to Rs 20.10 crore in Q4

NLG Insurance Company Limited (NLG) has published its fourth-quarter report of FY 2076/77 with a 15.35% rise in net profit. As per the Q4 report; the company has earned Rs 20.10 Crore at the end of the fourth quarter FY 2076/77 compared to Rs 17.42 Crore in the corresponding quarter.
It's paid-up capital stands at Rs.1.00 Arba. The reserve fund of the company has increased to Rs 31.09 Crore from the corresponding years' Rs 19.83 Crore. The company’s insurance fund has increased to Rs 89.63 Crore from Rs 79.22 Crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous year.
The company’s earnings from premium (net) decreased to Rs 59.85 Crore in Q4 from Rs 81.93 Crore in the corresponding quarter of the last fiscal year.
The company has made claim payment (net) worth Rs 49.80 Crore whereas the same amount stood at Rs 55.11 Crore in the corresponding quarter.
The number of policies of NLG is 1,69,837 with a 0.78% decline compared to the corresponding quarter.
Its EPS stands at Rs 19.93 while the quarter-end PE ratio is at 32.96 times. The net worth per share of the company amounts to Rs 219.70.
NLG Insurance has recently issued 60% right shares to its shareholders and announced a 7% bonus share for FY 2075/76.
