Despite increment in total income by huge margin in Q3, Ridi Hydropower reports decline in net profit; Look at the major highlights of Q3

Ridi Hydropower Development Company Limited (RHPC) has reported a decline in net profit by 30.68% in the third quarter (Q3) of the FY 2077/78.
According to the unaudited financial report published today, its net profit after income tax has decreased to Rs 2.14 crore in the Q3 of FY 2077/78 from Rs 3.09 crores in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal year.
As per the report, the company had to pay a late COD (commercial date of operation) fine of Rs. 66.47 lakhs. Also, the income has been eaten up by interest expenses of Butwal Solar Loan of Rs. 1.85 crores.
RHPC made the regular income of Rs 8.01 crore from the sale of electricity by the end of the third quarter (including Butwal Power Solar and Ridi Khola), which was Rs 4.04 crore in the corresponding quarter (excluding Butwal Power Solar).
The company reported its liquidity position of 0.13 times; which is lower than the minimum requirement of 1.5 times.
It's paid-up capital stands at Rs 58.55 crore with a reserve of Rs 2.24 crore.
Its annualized EPS stands at Rs 4.88 and its net worth per share is at Rs 103.84. Similarly, the P/E ratio stands at 43.46 times.
