Department of Health Services to organize Women’s Health Conference 2023 in March

The Acting Director General of Department of Health Services Mr Sunil Sharma has officially announced about soon-to-be taking place ‘Women Health Conference’ and unveiled its official website during a function organized at Hotel Himalaya, Pulchowk, Lalitpur.

The Section Chief of Family Welfare Division Ms Kavita Aryal, who is also the member secretary of the Conference Organization Committee, presented the format and concept of the conference that is scheduled to take place in Kathmandu on Falgun 25 and 26. She informed that findings/presentations of researches related to sexual and reproductive health and rights, non-communicable diseases, child/adolescent/adolescent and senior citizen health, women's health in disasters and women's health related to nutrition will be presented during the conference.

The conference is being organized by Family Welfare Division, Ministry of Health and Population with the financials and technical support from ADRA Nepal and various national and international development partners.
