NIC ASIA Capital Limited has launched a new scheme under which customers can open their demat accounts with the merchant bank with just RE 1. The bank launched this scheme to implement One Nepali One Demat Account policy of the regulatory bodies of Nepal.

The scheme will begin from Poush 16, 2076 in an occasion of Western New Year calendar and will remain in place till the end of Asad, 2077. The bank has also waved the service charge for the Demat account for the first year until the end of Asad, 2077, as per the media statement.
