Decrease in turnover leads to 66.64% decline in Net Profit in Q4 of Unilever Nepal Limited

Unilever Nepal Limited (UNL) has published its fourth-quarter report of fiscal year 2076/2077 with a decrease in Net Profit by a massive 66.64%. The Net Profit of the company decreased from Rs. 1.06 Arba to Rs. 35.53 crores.

Due to the lockdown enforced by the government around the nation, sales, and the service income of the company have decreased leading to lower profitability.

As per the report, the revenue of the company decreased by 3.60% to Rs. 5.54 Arba in the fourth quarter of FY 2076/2077.

The paid-up capital of the company remained at Rs. 9.21 crores with retained earnings of Rs. 1.87 Arba in the fourth quarter of FY 2076/2077.

The earnings per share stood at Rs.386 and Net worth per share stood at Rs. 2142.
