Daily Summary: NEPSE Loses Minimal 5.45 Points and Closes at 2,543.52; Rookie IPO Stock CGH's First Red Day After Being Traded

The NEPSE index lost a minimal 5.45 points today and closed at 2,543.52. The index opened at 2,558.23 and briefly made an intraday high at 2,562.02. The index lost in the overall market movement today, going as low as 2,537.82. With this, total volatility of 24.2 points was witnessed in the trading session.

9,138,935 shares traded hands via 64,515 transactions. The trading of 209 scrips brought the total market turnover to a little over Rs. 4.41 Arba.

While the float index lost 0.12 points and closed at 174.86, the Sensitive index is at 449.92 after losing 0.39 points.

Nepal Infrastructure Bank Limited (NIFRA) has the highest individual scrip turnover of a little over Rs. 44.31 crores. The units of the Sanima Equity Fund (SAEF) traded the most.

The three highest gainers have technically hit the 10% positive circuit today.

Meanwhile, Chandragiri Hills Limited (CGH) lost the most 7.17%.

Only three sectors gained today while ten others closed red. While Hydropower gained the most 1.07%, Trading lost the most 4.62%.
