Daily Summary: NEPSE Loses 15.82 Points and Closes at 2,235.09, Intraday Turnover Declines to Rs. 92.94 Crore

The NEPSE index closed at 2,235.09 today after losing 15.82 points from yesterday's closing. This is a loss of 0.70%. The index had lost 23.51 points yesterday.

The index opened at 2,251.49 points and made intraday high at 2,258.51. It then made intraday low at 2,231.33 and closed at 2,235.09.

223 scrips traded hands via 19,057 transactions. Furthermore, a total of 2,517,988 shares exchanged hands amounting to Rs. 92.94 crore in the turnover amount. This is lower than yesterday's turnover of Rs. 1.3 Arba.

Arun Kabeli Power Ltd. (AKPL) had the highest turnover of Rs. 3.02 crores closing at a market price of Rs. 466. The shares of Shangrila Development Bank Ltd. Promoter Share (SADBLP) traded the most.

Samudayik Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (SLBSL) gained the highest 2.73%.

On the other side of things, Terhathum Power Company Limited (TPC) lost the highest 4.94% today.

Only one sector closed green, "Mutual Fund" gained 0.46% while "Trading" lost the highest 2.38%.
