Daily Summary: NEPSE Loses 10.78 Points and Closes at 2,936.66 With Higher Intraday Turnover

The NEPSE index closed at 2,936.66 today after losing 10.78 points from yesterday's closing. This is a loss of 0.37% on the index. The index had gained 20.64 points yesterday.

The index opened at 2,953.11 and made the intraday high at 2,981.35. While it went as low as 2,916.06, it ultimately closed at 2,936.66.

224 scrips traded hands via 115,958 transactions. Furthermore, a total of 16,004,530 shares exchanged hands amounting to Rs. 8.443 Arba in the turnover amount. This is higher than yesterday's turnover of Rs. 7.901 Arba.

Api Power Company Limited (API) had the highest turnover of Rs. 28.11 crores closing at a market price of Rs. 554 per share. Its shares also traded the most.

Samling Power Company Limited (SPC) gained the highest 9.49% and closed at Rs. 649.30. Meanwhile, Manushi Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (MLBS) lost the highest 35, hence closing at Rs. 1,540.
