Daily Summary: NEPSE Gains 8.90 Points and Closes at 2,274.42 , Eight of Thirteen Sector Indices Close Green Led by Hydropower

The NEPSE index closed at 2,274.42 today after gaining 8.90 points from yesterday's closing. This is a gain of 0.39%. The index had lost 84.90 points yesterday.
The index opened at 2,262.99 points and made intraday low at 2,237.98. It then made intraday high at 2,281.96 and closed at 2,274.42.
227 scrips traded hands via 27,057 transactions. Furthermore, a total of 3,156,913 shares exchanged hands amounting to Rs. 1.326 Arba in the turnover amount. This is lower than yesterday's turnover of Rs. 1.644 Arba.
Arun Valley Hydropower Development Co. Ltd. (AHPC) traded the most and had the highest turnover of Rs. 5.38 crores closing at a market price of Rs. 421.
Radhi Bidyut Company Ltd (RADHI) gained the highest 6.02%.
On the other side of things, Suryodaya Womi Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (SWMF) lost all 10% today.
Eight out of thirteen sector indices closed green, "Life Insurance" lost the highest 0.87% while "Hydro Power" gained the highest 2.08%.
