Daily Summary: NEPSE Gains 14.57 Points and Closes at 2,528.95; Eight Companies Hit 10% Positive Circuit Breakers

The NEPSE index gained 14.57 points today and closed at 2,528.95. The index opened at 2,524.43 and made an intraday low at 2,496.38. The index gained in the overall market movement today, going as high as 2,531.04. With this, total volatility of 34.66 points was witnessed in the trading session.

10,276,710 shares traded hands via 61,422 transactions. The trading of 208 scrips brought the total market turnover to a little over Rs. 5.14 Arba.

While the float index gained 1.08 points and closed at 173.95, the Sensitive index is at 448.89 after gaining 0.09 points.

Nepal Infrastructure Bank Limited (NIFRA) has the highest individual scrip turnover of a little over Rs. 52.6 crores. Its shares also traded the most.

The eight highest gainers have technically hit the 10% positive circuit today.

Meanwhile, Panchakanya Mai Hydropower Limited (PMHPL) lost the most 4.15%.

Seven sectors have gained today and six others closed red. The sector "Trading" gained the most 9.34% and the sector "Manufacturing and Processing" lost the most 0.76%.
