Daily Summary: NEPSE Gains 0.56 Points and Closes at 2,673.88; NRIC highest turnover

The NEPSE index gained 0.56 points today and closed at 2,673.88. The index opened at 2685.41 and immediately made the intraday low at 2,664.37. While the index went as high as 2686.19, it ultimately closed at 2,673.88. With this, intraday volatility of 21.82 points was seen in today's trading session.
14,854,422 shares traded hands via 62,972 transactions. The trading of 215 scrips brought the total market turnover to a little over Rs. 5.32 Arba. While the float index lost meager 0.08 points and closed at 183.15, the Sensitive index is at 478.38 after gaining 0.14 points.
Nepal Reinsurance Company Limited (NRIC) has the highest individual scrip turnover of a little over Rs. 35.16 crores.
Ten scrips have closed at the upper limit of 10% gain (technically) today. After 4 days of continuous fall, Bishal Bazar Company gain 9.99% today.
On the other side of things, Everest Insurance promoter (EICPO) lost by 3.90%, and Salt Trading lost by 2.27% and closed at Rs 10,760.
Manufacturing and Processing sector gains most by 1.71% whereas Trading sector lost most by 1.02%.
