Daily Market Summary: NEPSE Plunged by 7.41 Points to Close at 2053.13; Himal Dolakha Shares traded most

The NEPSE index closed at 2,053.13 today after losing 7.41 points from last trading day. This is a loss of 0.36%. The index had lost 7.72 points yesterday.

The index opened at 2,061.15 and went intraday high at 2,065.81 and ultimately closed at 2,053.13.

222 scrips traded hands via 31,795 transactions. Furthermore, a total of 5,230,763 shares exchanged hands amounting to Rs. 1.72 Arba in the turnover amount. This is a lower than last trading day's turnover of Rs. 2.047 Arba.

Himal Dolakha Hydropower Company Limited(HDHPC) had the highest turnover of Rs. 28.1 crores closing at a market price of Rs. 235 per share. The shares of Swet-Ganga Hydropower & Construction Limited (SGHC) traded the most.

Upper Hewakhola Hydropower Company Limited (UHEWA) gained the highest 10% and hit positive circuit for the day.

On the other side of things, NIBL Samriddhi Fund 2 (NIBSF2) lost the highest 6.75% today.

Only one sector indices closed green, while ‘Hotel and Tourism Sector’ lost the highest at 1.05%.
