CZBIL Holds Koshi Leadership Seminar Amid Strong Growth and Innovative Banking Initiatives

Citizens Bank International Limited (CZBIL) organized the “Seminar on Koshi Leadership: Inspiring Performance and Achieving Excellence” for its provincial heads, cluster heads, branch managers, and staff in Koshi Province, with the participation of CEO Ganeshraj Pokharel and senior executives. The seminar reviewed last fiscal year’s performance and discussed priorities for the current year, aiming to strengthen coordination between the central and provincial offices. Similar seminars were recently held in Madhesh and Bagmati provinces, and CZBIL plans to conduct them across other provinces.

In FY 2081/82, the bank achieved double-digit growth in key indicators: loans increased by 11.15% to NPR 1.75 trillion, deposits grew 11.69% to NPR 2.14 trillion, and net interest income rose 11.20% to NPR 636 million. The bank maintained a balanced liquidity with a credit-deposit ratio of 81.91%, ROA of 0.55%, and ROE of 5.81%. CZBIL has introduced innovative services, including the first Citizens PhonePe virtual credit card in Nepal and mobile banking-based share application and CRN services. Operating 200 branches, 169 ATMs, 3 extended counters, and 74 branchless banking units across 61 districts, the bank serves over 1.93 million customers with modern banking solutions.
