Conversion of Promoter Shares of Asian Life Insurance; Shareholding Ratio Changed To 51: 49

A notice has been published by Asian Life Insurance Company Limited (ALICL) where the promoter - public shares conversion from the existing 60% - 40% has been changed to 51% -49% as granted by Nepal Insurance Authority and endorsed by their 14th AGM last year.
As of now, the company has 31,553,006 unit shares listed in NEPSE. Likewise, the shareholding structure consisted of promotors (60%) i.e. 18,931,804 units, and the public (40%) i.e. 12,621,202 units. Now, it have been converted to 51% Promoter shares i.e. 16,092,033 units, and 49% Public shares i.e. 15,460,973 units.
This means about 28.40 lakhs units added to the public shareholders.
ALICL closed at Rs. 608 as of 7th November, 2023.
