Contributors of SSF to enjoy Rs 1 lakh worth medical fee coverage at College of Medical Sciences, Teaching Hospital of Chitwan

Contributors of Social Security Fund (SSF) are set to receive financial coverage for their medical treatment at College of Medical Sciences, Teaching hospital in Chitwan.

Under this scheme, contributors of the fund will now receive Rs 25 thousand worth of health treatment charge at the OPD and Rs 1 lakh worth of coverage in case the contributor is admitted to the hospital. the contributor will need to make 20% of the payment while the SSF will bare 80% of the medical fee, as per the media statement.

The contributors will also receive Rs 7 lakh worth of medical coverage in case of the treatment following the accident while the wives of the contributors will also receive a financial contribution for medical check-ups during and after their pregnancy, as per the media statement.
