Competitions galore among banks to provide banking services till long hours; Mega Bank commits to provide 12 hours of services 7 days a week

Mega Bank with an aim to provide more convenient and better services to its valued customers has decided to extend its existing service hours and days at its branches both inside and outside Kathmandu valley. In addition to its central office located at Rising Mall and at Thamel which have been providing banking services from early hours of 8 a.m till late 8 p.m., its other branches located at Kalanki, Jawlakhel and Newroad will provide services till 7 p.m. now onwards while Gongabu branch shall remain open till 6 p.m. moreover, people can also receive banking services till 7 p.m. at its Janakpur branch while Hetauda branch shall remain till 6 p.m.

The bank has also decided to keep door open for its customers even during public holidays under which 6 branches inside Kathmandu and 10 others outside the valley will throw their doors open even in Saturdays and during public holidays. Similarly, 4 branches inside Kathmandu valley and 3 outside the valley will remain open in all holidays except Saturday.

The bank currently has 99 branches, 14 extension counters, 119 branchless banking units and more than 2000 Mega Remit agents.
