Imagine a hangout where you and your friends can bond over how great or horrible your day was, or gossip with your friend about her crush, or listen to your friend (for the hundredth time!) about how he’s going to leave his job to start an artistic career, but never does - all over infinite cups of coffee! Imagine a hangout that is cozy and comfortable and helps you builds beautiful memories with the people you love. Café Coffee Day brings you that ambience, which is cozy and fun and youthful and happening, and yet private and peaceful. An Indian Café chain owned by Coffee Day Global Limited, a subsidiary of Coffee Day Enterprises Limited, in collaboration with Stavya Hospitality PVT Nepal, Café Coffee Day has become an important part of young India, where it stands as a cornerstone of coffee and youth culture. Fondly referred to as “CCD” by the young coffee-lovers, Café Coffee Day proudly sources their coffee from their own plantations, taking coffee lovers through the journey of bean to a cup at one go. Coffee Day has also made its presence known all over the world, including Europe and Japan, thus establishing itself as one of the top coffee exporters in India.

After establishing itself across Austria (Vienna), Czech Republic, Malaysia and Egypt, Café Coffee Day finally arrived to Nepal, with its first CCD outlet opening at Jawalakhel. It moved in much closer to the culturally inclined part of the city after opening its second outlet at Basantapur. Nepal, being a close neighbor of India, CCD seeks to establish the same foothold here which it has already achieved in India, by extending the Nepali coffee culture. The incredible response it has received from Nepali coffee-lovers for its first two outlets has encouraged Café Coffee Day to enter the posh and premium market of Nepal at Durbar Marg, with a revised menu, that includes various new and local food, and a bigger place for hangout. The outlet will be competing shoulder to shoulder against many established national and international food chains in the sophisticated neighborhood.

CCD has been India’s favorite hangout for coffee and conversations since its inception, connecting with coffee-lovers through its motto “a lot can happen over coffee”. CCD is a hangout spot where you can meet people, make conversations, cook up new ideas and have a whole lot of fun over steaming cups of great coffee. The youths across Indian and other nations across the world were immediate in connecting with the café as they could recognize CCD as a place that they can call their own. CCD understands that its consumer could be from any age demographic, but CCD loves to call their customers “young or young at heart”, focusing on bringing out a feeling of togetherness, friendship, romance and celebration - its critical core values. Remember how hectic, formal and often uncomfortable those Office meetings could be? The ambience of Café Coffee Day is such that even those office meetings become informal and comfortable here over a few cups of coffees. Sporting a warm café ambience with a local look and feel, CCD cafés always imbue a positive and relaxing environment which encourages genuine and hearty conversations. Taking over the world with coffee, CCD continues its journey, one outlet, and one cup after another.
