Coca-Cola, the most loved beverage in Nepal recently launched a Dashain Campaign with the theme of expressing gratitude to loved ones. Titled “Dhanyabad”, the campaign aims to inspire and encourage consumers to share gratitude with a refreshing bottle of Coke to those who have been there during the difficult moments during the pandemic.

As a part of the Dashain campaign, Coca-Cola has now kicked off its on-ground activation which is dedicated to frontline warriors from various fields such as the Healthcare sector, Traffic Police, and various NGOs who have played crucial roles in the fight against Covid-19 in Nepal. The intent is to take this opportunity to express Coca-Cola’s “Dhanyabad” to as many frontline heroes as possible for their dedication and service to the communities. To share gratitude, Coca-Cola will engage with frontline heroes and share “Dhanyabad” gift boxes which will include personalized Coke bottles with individuals’ names printed on the new Dhanyabad label along with a pair of Coca-Cola contour glasses.

The first day of activation was successfully held in four NGOs namely the National Innovation Center led by Mr. Mahabir Pun, Hami Nepal led by the youth of the country, animal rescue, and shelter at Sneha’s Care and Heartbeat. In the following days, Coca-Cola will be visiting more organizations including hospitals and the Traffic Police of Kathmandu to further extend its gratitude towards frontline heroes of the country.

Sudan Gurung, President of Hami Nepal shared “Though the times called to stay safe indoors, our team of youths bravely volunteered and to be of help in any way. During the pandemic, we raised funds through which we could provide hospital beds, oxygen tanks, and concentrators to hospitals and people in need. Having our efforts being acknowledged by Coca-Cola Nepal, I and the entire team of Hami Nepal feel even more empowered and motivated to go further in our journey.”

Speaking about the campaign, Mr. Adarsh Avasthi, Country Director of Coca-Cola in Nepal shared, “Essential and frontline workers have played an extremely vital role in our communities over the past one and half years of the pandemic. They have fearlessly strived to help save lives and keep normalcy. We applaud and salute their selfless efforts and thank them for their courageous deeds during the pandemic. Our on-ground activation is dedicated wholeheartedly to show gratitude to them.”
