'Civil servants' salary to be increased by 14 percent'

KATHMANDU, 13:

The government is increasing salary of civil servants by 14 percent through the budget of fiscal year 2014/15 set to be presented today in the House.

According to sources, government is also allocating budgets of Rs 10 million to the election constituencies.

Earlier, lawmakers affiliated to Nepali Congress and CPN-UML had been demanding allocation of Rs 50 million budgets to each election constituencies.

Similarly, the government is unveiling a budget of Rs 622 billion for this fiscal year.
