Civil Bank's interest rate discount on poultry loans

KATHMANDU:
Civil Bank on Thursday announced a discount in the interest rate for the bird flu-stricken poultry sector.
According to the bank, the interest rates across its entire poultry portfolio has been decreased to a flat 10.75 percent per annum. The bank said it was providing the discount for its existing clients for the next six months as a relief while they recuperate from losses faced after to cases of bird flu were reported in the country.
