KATHMANDU, FEB 21:
Civil Bank has started an 18-day training session for more than 200 BBA/BBS students on ‘Basic Banking’ in which students will go through a three-day classroom training session to gain theoretical knowledge on basic banking.
After the training session, they will be provided with 15 days of on-the-job training to gain practical experience of marketing of banking products and services, the commercial bank said in a press note.
“This kind of training programmes will help students gain basic banking knowledge as well as experience the present market scenario which will contribute towards their career development and will also develop banking habits in the society in general,” said chief executive of the bank Kishore Maharjan.
